Rare And Unusual Shape Vintage Focal Beads, Botswana Agate, Peanut Shape

This 'peanut' bead shape is hard to find, this style is not generally used anymore because they are difficult to make.
These beads are made from Botswana Agate. These agates are known for their distinct and often intricate banding patterns.

I'm making an educated guess that these beads were produced in the early 2000s. These larger focal beads are available by the strand, approximately 42 beads per 15" strand. All are randomly selected, carefully packaged and sent to you! Please see the pictures for bead sizes, which vary slightly. Beads are roughly 6-9 mm wide at the hole drill point, and 30-35 mm in drop length. US penny used for scale.
