Upcycle Products GRO 55 gal Grey Rain Barrel

We use previously used high-density polyethylene (HDPE) barrels with food-grade quality. These containers were used for food storage. Since they were previously used they will come with dents or scratched. We make sure to clean and rinse the barrels with rainwater, to reduce the scent and residue, but we cannot completely remove. That will disipate over the time and use of the barrel. Our 55 Gallon Grey Barrels are a great “Neutral” color that looks nice with green plants and trees in your garden. They hide well behind deciduous trees and bushes, and won’t clash with any color house. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used overseas food barrels. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. We use a PH balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. These barrels keep difficult to break down plastics from adding bulk to landfills and also contain and repurpose stormwater.

• Since our rain barrels are made of High Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall.
• There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation.
• Heavy Duty Screening keeps mosquitoes out.
• Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will dissipate after a few full barrel filling cycles.
